  • Payment Information: Billing details processed securely through our payment provider (Stripe). We do not store credit card numbers directly.

  • Supabase: Database hosting and user authentication
  • Vercel: Application hosting and deployment
  • Apify: Product data collection from publicly available TikTok Shop listings
  • Stripe: Payment processing for subscriptions
  • Inngest: Background job processing for scheduled scrapes and alerts

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We may share data in the following limited circumstances:

  • With service providers who assist in operating the Service (listed above)
  • When required by law, legal process, or government request
  • To protect the rights, property, or safety of ShopTok, our users, or the public
  • In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets (with prior notice)

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data and all product tracking data (snapshots, price history, change logs) for as long as your account is active. All plans receive full historical data retention to power analytics, trend forecasting, and intelligence features.

We may use aggregated, anonymized product market data to improve our platform, develop trend forecasting models, and enhance intelligence features across the Service. This aggregated data does not identify individual users.

If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law. Anonymized, aggregated market data may be retained.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (TLS/SSL), secure authentication, and access controls. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
